2200cfm Throttle Body
This throttle body has a 2.25" bore and 4500 style flange.
CAD designed lightweight two piece main bodies are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum.
Throttle blades made from high strength 2024-T35 aluminum. Lathe turned to tight tolerances with precise angles.
Throttle linkage is CNC machined from high strength 2024-T351 aluminum, for strength and wear resistance.
5 degree throttle angle for more precise idle speed control with one to one linkage.
One to one linkage is of the center dump design for even airflow distribution and easier fuel map calibration. Unique roller design eliminates any possibility of the linkage going over center and sticking open, as with link bar designs.
Premium double sealed electric motor quality roller shaft bearings never wear out or cause excessive leakage.
All stainless hardware.
Late model GM TPS
5/16-18 air cleaner stud hole has stronger thread and stud for extra reliability in turbo charged and centrifugally supercharged applications.
A 60 degree chamfer cut on the bottom of the throttle bores allow for a smoother transition into plenum and a 12cfm increase in airflow.
Large diameter high torque primary spring. Good for one million cycles. No auxiliary spring is necessary. (Some sanctioning body rules may still require one)
Same bore center to center as a 4500 series carburetor so it works with most throttle stops.
3/16" pressure regulator fitting in front and back for flexible pressure regulator mounting. Allows for easy plumbing of regulator.
1/4" MAP fitting for 2-5 bar MAP sensor hook up on turbo charged and centrifugally supercharged applications. |
