CP Adapter Harness
For all ignitions using an after-market ignition amplifier connect the white sub harness (CP adapter) from the Spark Sub to the tach output on the amplifier box such as Malory, Crane, and MSD.
Due to the erratic output signal from points style ignitions we do not recommend their use. If it is absolutely necessary to use points due to the unavailability of an electronic conversion kit or replacement electronic distributor, you must use an after-market amplifier box and connect EMS through the Spark sub and Tach output of the amplifier box. This will correct the Tach signal used by the Stage II EMS. |
